Recruitment Resources!
Hello Study Coordinators!
This NSP Study recruitment resources page will help you to use the all of the tools available for recruiting participants for the study. Our official video, informational brochures, fact sheet and safety information are all found here. You are welcome to use the promotional resources as you see fit, but this provides a guide to make best use of all the materials. All materials are IRB approved; the same version of these materials are also available in your site’s BOX Local Documents Folder.
We encourage you to familiarize yourself with these materials, and provide them to all prospective participants.
For Potential participants
The first time you are letting the potential participant know about the study, we highly recommend sending them the video, as well as directing them towards the patient information website for the NSP.
Include these links in any email you send the participant:
NSP Video: https://youtu.be/d6_DV0xX5pE
Patient Information Website: https://www.allftd.org/nsp
There is an FAQ section on the above page with answers to many common participant questions.
USING THE NSP STUDY VIDEO: even if someone is already familiar with the basics of the NSP study, we hope that seeing the video may provide a sense of joining a shared cause and a little extra motivation to turn someone who is simply curious into a new enrollee.
SEND THE NSP FACT SHEET: This can be a great follow up to an initial outreach or conversation. Or to provide in response to people’s general questions or desire to be sent information. The fact sheet provides a simple and easy to understand overview of the study. Key information about FTD and how the study works is presented visually.

AFTER ENROLLED IN THE NSP
Once the participant agrees to enroll in the study and is consented
Send the participant the REMOTE VISIT SAFETY INFORMATION SHEET and the PCM TRIALS CONTACT INFORMATION so that they are prepared for the visit. The Remote Visit Safety Information Sheet provides information on COVID-19 safety before, during and after the visit to the participant’s home. The Participant Safety Sheet is also available at any time to refer if participants have questions about safety measures during the enrollment and consent process.
